For three decades, our restaurant has been a beacon of culinary excellence, steeped in rich tradition and unwavering passion. From humble beginnings to a cherished dining destination, each dish tells a story of dedication and innovation.

OUR HISTORY

1988

San Antonio Multiplex open at 1988 as a small bar that served refreshments to the few tourists at the beach.

1991

In 1991 as a beach bar offered snacks and light meals.

1995

In 1995 the apartments where build and operated for the first time.

1997

In 1997 the San Antonio Beach Tavern operated with local dishes.

2001

In 2001 the new part of the restaurant was established and there was a bigger variety of dishes to be served.

2010

In 2010 the beach bar was fully renovated and the San Antonio takes a new form and operates as a multiplex. Along with the hotel and the restaurant many events like, weddings, christenings, social and athletic events, Greek night shows are being held during the summer season.

Our location

GETTING HERE

The island is only accessible by boat from two ports, Skala Prinos and Limenas (Thassos), which are served from Kavala and Keramoti on the mainland.

From Kavala
The ship arrives from Kavala to Skala Prinos with journey duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes. During the summer months there are 5 daily trips. When you arrive in Skala Prinos you travel by car or bus heading to Potos. Potos is located at 27 km distance. You turn right on the ring road in Skala Prinos and will continue to Potos. After you pass by the center of Potos and as you move away towards Astris after the bridge you, turn right towards the sea. The San Antonio Beach Restaurant is 150 meters along this road.

From Keramoti
From Keramoti port the ship arrives in Limenas (Thassos), the capital of Thassos. The trip lasts 35 minutes and there are regular trips, usually every half hour during the summer months. From Limenas by car or bus, turn right on the ring road and follow the signs to Potos. After you pass by the center of Potos and as you move away towards Astris after the bridge you, turn right towards the sea. The San Antonio Beach Restaurant is 150 meters along this road.

By airplane
The nearest airport in Thassos is Kavala Airport (airport Alexander the Great), which is near Chrysoupoli, just 17 km from the port of Keramoti. There are routes all year daily to Athens and during the summer there are charter flights from all over Europe.
